Our Journey: From Passion to Trusted Automotive Experts

We, Rob and Dan, met in 2002 in an auto body shop in Kelowna, BC, and became friends. In 2018, our passion for the automotive industry motivated us to start working on vehicle detailing in our free time from Rob’s driveway.

In 2020, we realised there was potential for our side business to grow, and although taking the leap was not easy, we decided to start a full-service auto body shop.

Luckily, we found 1,600 square feet building that was set up as a body shop, with a paint booth in it and leased it. We contacted Kevin, an auto body technician who we have known since 2002 to join the team. That’s how A2D Autobody & Detail was born.With the support of our friends, family and community, our success resulted in us outgrowing the building and in January 2024 we moved into a 6,600 square feet shop and now employ 11 people, adding up 75 years of auto body shop experience.
